Heliport lighthouse

Heliport beacon (BCN) according to ICAO specifications, provides visual indication of heliport location, especially in high light impact environments. The beacon system includes a controller for signal dimming (3-10-100%) to avoid pilot glare during the final stages of approach and landing. The heliport beacon emits repeated series of short-duration equispaced white flashes in the format of the Morse letter “H”.
